The story of

Kathleen Hampton

Kathleen Hampton always wanted to heal people, so she was a pre-med student at her state university. She was offered a spot on the waiting list at the University of Washington Medical School, but they didn’t get down to her name that year. Instead of reapplying the following year, she married the love of her life and completed a Master’s degree.

Kathleen began teaching as a graduate teaching assistant and continued to teach at local colleges then started a consulting business. When her husband wanted to take a job in Seattle, she sold her business to follow him with their son. Twin boys soon arrived, so she dove into home schooling and taught elementary, middle, and high school students through a co-op.

It was during those years that Kathleen developed what her doctors could only call “a wasting disease.” She grew so thin she nearly died. That was when she dumped all her old theology and clung to God’s Word and some treatments she found in the scientific literature. Disease by disease, the Lord healed her until she was better than before.

Kathleen is now an ordained pastor and studies ancient biblical languages and the Hebrew context so she can better understand the Bible and heal even more people than if she had become a doctor.

She is passionate about seeing people healed so they can enjoy the long, abundant life they were created for and complete the mission God has for them on earth. She and her family, including four grandchildren, live in the Pacific Northwest.
